The 1987 “Legions of the Undead” demo cassette by New York’s LEVIATHAN, featuring a young Chris Barnes (CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER) on vocals and Jeff Juszkiewicz (MALEVOLENT CREATION) on guitar, has been made available for download at the Bang! Bang! metal demo blog. According to the blog post, “LEVIATHAN are into darkness and violence, but they sound infinitely more like early KREATOR or DARK ANGEL than anything resembling CANNIBAL CORPSE or MALEVOLENT CREATION.”
Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH have posted a new video clip on their official YouTube page, which documents their latest photo session. The group just completed five special North American shows that included an appearance at the renowned New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, two rare headlining shows, plus performances alongside such acclaimed acts as CANNIBAL CORPSE and DIMMU BORGIR, among others.
