What Metal Hammer have against Nickelback is the fact that they are utterly utterly garbage. Airbourne are a good fun band, and have the talent to back it up, who DEFINITELY dont take themselves too seriously. So someone is having a go at your heroes. Loosen up, its called having an opionion, as I have just given mine. And the most likely the rest of known universes.
