That album is sweet again when you haven’t heard it for so long. Old SOAD was definitely the best.

Anyone who goes to any kind of rock/metal night at a club can’t escape at least 3 SOAD songs per visit which has really ruined them for me

Yeah, no sh*t. I remember the first time I heard their debut album - totally blew me away.
Same again when I saw them live supporting post-Max-Seps and Slayer.

Don’t think they ever quite reached the heights of that debut, though Toxicity and their others have some cracking tracks on.

I’ve been spending the past month going through old CD’s I haven’t heard for ages… Draconian Times by Paradise Lost must be one of THE all time great metal records.

I can tell you now one album I thought wow havnt heard that in a while life is killing me by type o negative I was 15 when that came out 5 years on still a masterpiece of an album
