Every Time I Die – No Son of Mine
Gojira – In The Wilderness
Mastodon – Island
Corrosion of Conformity – Fuel
Down – Losing All
Slayer – Hallowed Point
Pantera – Rise
Dimmu Borgir – The Sacrilegious Scorn
Sabbat – How Have The Mighty Fallen?
Strapping Young Lad – Force Fed
Good call on Dimmu Borgir but Satan My Master is a cover version duh!
Exodus- Verbal Razors….fuckin’ killer…
Metallica’s Disposable Heroes!
crazy fists realesed bloodwork as a single and usually play it at there gigs
Good call on Scissorfight. But 36 Crazyfists and Anvenged Sevenfold suck too much to be underrated. And Metallica’s “2×4″ is just an unlistenable piece of dross, doesn’t deserve to be rated in any manner whatsoever.
how is floods by pantera not there dimebag’s solo in that song is brilliant
what about soundgarden jesus christ pose????
Lamb of God- Purified
Wolf – Curse You Salem
Slayer- Postmortem
Down Low- Betzefer< check this out
With Oden On Our Side- Amon Amarth
Inside Out is probably one of the best Anthrax tracks ever. Good call!
Slayer – Serenity in Murder
spot on! the track is way too under rated
Come Back Alive – Sepultura
COC – ‘King of all the Rotten’ and Iron Maiden – ‘Alexander the Great’…awsome!!! Couldnt agree more.
hmmm…
Saxon – Attila The Hun
Iced Earth – Attila (notice a pattern?)
Rammstien – Seemann
Tool – The Grudge
Metallica – Outlaw Torn
Slayer – Desire
System of a Down – War?
Opeth – The Moor
Nile – Annihalation of The Wicked
Cradle of Filth – Presents from the Poison-Hearted
hahaha, i’ll be suprised if many people think those are ‘classics’ but hey.
Megadeth – Every track from Killing is my Business
“ol’ john boy
what about soundgarden jesus christ pose????”
That’s probably one of their most famous songs!!!
Trivium – To The Rats
Metallica – Fuel
Slipknot – Pulse Of The Maggots
Alice in chains – Social Parasite is good but i would have chosen ‘What the hell have I’. Such a wierd riff.
Wouldn’t say Omerta is underrated – I’d say Blood of the Scribe is more a candidate for that in terms of LoG!
And for Clutch, it’s gotta be either Cypress Grove or Mercury.
Tool – ‘Eulogy’ was a good call, although I’d rather see ‘No Quarter’ there, even though it’s a cover.
Others to consider:
Black Sabbath: Dirty Women
Slayer: Metal Storm/Face the Slayer
Death: Overactive Imagination
Mercyful Fate: Nightmare
Faith No More – Jizzlobber
Rammstien – Seemann
Freakin’ fantastic song.
You bods at MH have way too much time on your hands.
I’m sure they’ve played it live at some point but I’m still to see an Anthrax gig where they play “Potter’s Field” or “Random Acts Of Senseless Violence”
Or anything off of Black Sabbath’s “Born Again” album, one of the most underated albums of all time!!
Oh, Mastodon: Seabeast!
[...] Anthrax guitarist, thrash icon and all-round legend of a man, Scott Ian, is in the studio finishing up the brand new Anthrax record, fresh from playing a few shows in South America with Iron Maiden (including the Bogota show where 111 Iron Maiden fans were arrested). Anthrax have also been confirmed for this year’s Sonisphere festival and are included in out Now That’s What I Call… Underapprecaited Classics. [...]
metallica – dyer’s eve
megadeth – this was my life
slayer – cleanse the soul
anthrax – anything from stomp 442
Now now Hammer, Lamb of God played Omerta at the Defenders of the Faith II Bristol gig. It was awesome. Were you behind that? Were you? Own up!
