Frederic Leclercq: “I think Dragonforce will be on the road all of 2009, so probably no.  I personally write stuff for Maladaptive and other projects.”

Do you write all year round?
Leclercq: “Yes, I do!  I have to…”

Dragonforce seem to have really nailed its sound.  Do you see that continuing?
Leclercq: “I think we got the sound that suits us best, so I dont see why we should change it!”

Or is it time for change?  Reggae-metal rave-core?
Leclercq: “I like the idea of “Reggae metal rave core”… maybe it’s time for some “unholy acoustic death metal” or “extreme salsa neo-chanson”. Or whatever.”

What can we expect from The D-Force in 2009?
Leclercq: “Playing in a town near you.  Or at least not too far!!”

When will you be playing in the UK again?
Leclercq: “In 2009… don’t know precisely when…but definitely in 2009.”

What are you most looking forward to in 2009?
Leclercq: “Releasing an album with Maladaptive, touring Japan…What about you?!”
