Breast cancer and Terms of En-rampage-ment by any chance?
Both utterly brilliant. Fuck knows how they got away with some of the stuff.
Terms of En-rampage-ment and this week's mistaken identity kidnapping.
FX's latest series Lights Out
, a boxing drama, finished up this week and it won't be coming back due to a steep decline in ratings. Former champion makes a return to the ring due to money woes what with the tough tough times / economic climate / recezzzzzion
. Also family niggles and shakedown hijinks. It was also very lame. Nothing offensive, utterly bollocks or boring enough to stop watching completely, every episode at least managed to squeeze out one or two good moments.
Imagine The Sopranos if you slashed it's budget, replaced the mob with boxing related people (Fighters, promoters, wives, upstarts, hangers on, etc) and added 900% water. It could have unironically been called The Cliche and no-one would have commented on it.
80% of the main cast were below-average, but the middle daughter, Reg E Cathey and Eamon Walker occasionally show up to right the ship. On top of all that a show about boxing shouldn't have had such laughable fight choreography.
