Potential texture caching problems if you have the game installed on the 360.
It has been discovered that installing the game onto the 360 hard drive triggers an error in which the game is unable to load up high-detail textures, leaving gamers with blurry visuals.
Posting on the official forums, a developer explains the cause of the bug as being related to the game's use of the 360's hard drive caching features.
"Skyrim uses a lot of dynamic streaming systems, including textures. We've seen a few reports of certain textures temporarily scaling down on the Xbox 360, and not scaling back up," they said.
"We have verified that this issue does not occur when playing off the disk and when the game is fully cached (not installed)," they added, advising 360 gamers to hold off installing the game for now.
"We're working on a solution in the next title update for those who have installed the game," added the Bethesda rep, but stopped short of offering an ETA for the patch.
