I'd see a TUF series of women doing well as it's probably seen as 'free fights' + flesh - homoeroticism.
Not sure about the women being booed as they seem to go over pretty well in Strikeforce. the most recent Invicta FC card had a lot of finishes.
This reminds me, didn't Bellator have a women's division at one point? I haven't heard about it in ages and I've actually watched some of their recent shows!
Rampage/Mitrione sounds like jawing to be honest. At least Mitrione was blunt about how he wasn't ready for a wrestler of Cormier's credentials, at 5-1 I don't think anyone will hold it against him.
Rampage's last match will probably againsyt someone who has a strong chance of beating him so they can get some sort of 'rub' by beating him (Like Glover would have done).
Phil Davis was massively exposed in the Rashad fight. He couldn't take Evans down in the first and Evans took Davis down whenever he wanted. Phil Davis wilted and just looked terrible for the remained of the fight. I remember in round 3 Phil was on his hands and knees, covering up and was just sticking out one hand trying to grab one of Rashad's ankles. Like WTF man? That's not gonna do it.
Eddie Alvarez just fed Pitbull some shin bone and looks like he'll be off to the UFC after the in 2013.
I actually think Erick Silva can hang with Fitch on the ground, for a while. Brenneman was usually dispatched with strikes but Silva pretty much negated all his moves and made him resort to wall and stall instead of takedowns after he got a decent ankle lock going. I say 'a while' because we've yet to see him out of Rd1 just yet.
Anderson, Rd 2 TKO
Erick, Rd 2 TKO
Glover, Rd1 KO (Maldonado likes running into fists)
Nog, Sub Rd3
Maia, Rd3 Sub (Story always gasses hard, reckon Maia can last until then)
Scott Coker insists the first Strikeforce card of 2013 will have Cormier, Rockhold, Rousey and Marquardt. Bet you Nate pulls out first.
