Enemy Of I
“Enemy of I” is an experimental metal band from Poland. The members are based in 4 different cities around Warsaw and from Warsaw. The origins of their name are explained by the band as combination of a well sounding name with an intentional ironic error (“I” instead of “mine”).
The music is a mixture of various inspirations of six significantly dissimilar band members, including Rammstein, System of a Down, Within Temptation, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Septic Flesh, Emilie Autumn, Amanda Palmer, Massive Attack and many more. The main rule the band follows is “No borders, no lines in creating music - playing all the time the same music style seems to be boring and blocking development of musicians”. Enemy of I’s intention is to mix many music inspirations in order to create some new quality of sound and melody.
Enemy of I was established at the end of 2009 by Stepfather (bass), Khalee (guitar), Rob Ranko (keyboards) and Chryst (drums). At the beginning of 2010 the band was joined by Amanda Noise (growl) and at the end of 2010 by Nemezi (clean vocal). In April 2012 the band, supported by its favorite studio producer Zed (Zed Studio), recorded 10 songs of its debut stuff. At present the band is searching for a label to issue its debut album (to be titled “Design Your God”) and trying to become more visible across the internet.
In January 2013 the band recorded the video clip “Walking on a Thin Line”
that represents depressive and melancholic side of one of numerous band’s faces. The Youtube premiere was on March 17th 2013.
Enjoy watching and listening
