The new testament album? Is there some kind of rule that says you have to be a sellout or on guitar hero to win a Grammy? The Grammy’s are about giving awards to those who are PROGRESSING the genre they are nominated for. Sure, sometimes it’s on the popular side, but just because it’s popular, does NOT mean that it is junk. On that note, obviously the people who give these nominations aren’t educated enough in Metallica, but if Children of Bodom is ever nominated i’m going to puke on myself. Some other bands mentioned above are simply beating the same sound into the ground, which is why they were either not nominated or didn’t win; Except for Slipknot. They deserve it. They are what is “metal”.

A good fuckin album is when you hear it for the first time and you’re like SHIT YA THIS ROCKS!! like Testaments’ new one… not metallica.. had to listen to it quite a few times before i kinda liked it.

I agree with Brian, just because it’s a lil more popular than other bands doesn’t mean you should trash it left and right. If it was really that good, it might be more popular. Ever think of that?
