You cannot be metal without having at least one member with a beard. A big one. Beards (almost) come before guitars. Fact. Ish.
Not only are you not metal if you don’t have a ma-hoo-sive beard. But you are not a man. Or at least not a very good one. Robb Flynn’s 3-pronged effort from “Burn My Eyes”-era Machine Head was pretty cool.
Thought it looked a tad stupid but that numpty that sings for Mudvayne had a goatee that must have taken ages to grow. It was past his balls at one point.
Chad’s goatee was a weave….if it was real, it’s be on the list for sure!
