I liked Chamber music and Vapour transmission (from coal chamber and orgy respectively) …other than that, yeah I agree to them all because one good album does not blind us to the tripe before/after.

Ive heard of none of these bands except for Coal Chamber.

Rubbish, Coal Chamber should reform, they were awesome! Also this isn’t me being sarcastic, they were actually brilliant!

HWP – Fucking amazing, still one of my favourite bands

Orgy, like coal chamber the first album was good, lost it by the third. the others i agree are pretty wank.

Oh, sure Orgy kind of fizzled near the end. But you have to admit, Candyass was pretty freakin dope.

Cyclefly were OK back in the day. I remember Kerrap used to big them up beyond something they would never be able to attain though. The rest were, are and always will be shite though.

I’ve only heard of Crazy Town and Coal Chamber from this lot.
Both were one hit wonders, but they still weren’t that bad!

Cyclefly were actually quite a decent band. Never really got too much support from their label unfortunately. There are far worse bands out there operating at the moment than them

what the hell! HWP does not belong on this list! you may have a point with the other bands especially cyclefly, majority of there fame came from bring chester bennington’s fav band at the time.

Crazy Town – utter shite, but their only song had at very least a catchy bass line.

Coal Chamber – let’s ignore the fact that Dez is doing something else now, they were fucking great for their first album and had a few other tracks across their others as well. Joel, they were by no means one hit wonders.

Orgy – they had a load of great tracks that still sound great today, they’re definitely worth a listen if you like a bit of synth with your metal. And their cover of Blue Monday was fucking brilliant.

As for the others, they’re just names to me, so will keep quiet. But please stop posting such utter shite and start posting news.

Coal Chamber used to get the shit ripped out of them constantly and Dez was a joke according to all the magazines but then they forget about all that when he starts his new (and very overrated) band!

Coal chamber’s first album was good, but nothing compared to the mighty devildriver…..i have never heard of the rest except for Crazy town who were the shittiest band to ever grace mother earth. they were so bad, Bin laden initiated a special department in his club to take them out. fucking horrendous band. the things id rather do than listen to their shit excuse for music is unlimited.

Coal Chamber are good but Devildriver are better, Creed should have never got back together, does that mean Alter Bridge are done for.

Creed were good in their own right, but Alter Bridger are way better.

Crazytown should never reform EVER! To this day I cannot believe they ever got featured in a Metal magazine.

As for coal Chamber all there songs sounded the same but i can remember how much i liked sway when i 1 st heard it.

Also they always dragged out there songs when they played lived i didn’t mind seeing some of there there female fans tho apart from the huge ones.

Metal Hammer need to stop being two faced and realise that they can’t satisfy everyones needs. They have their opinions, we have ours.

Coal Chamber rule, but Devildriver are Gods

Agreed with Ben, Coal Chamber were far better than Devildriver (who are probably the most overrated band in metal today). Most people who slag off Coal Chamber have heard about three songs by them.

Actually I own albums of four of the bands on that list, and would still say I enjoy listening to three of them.

Fact is, music magazines wanked over all of those bands when they were around first time and if they were to reform tomorrow you’d all start wanking over them again.

cyclefly were Irish!! Not that great, but irish nonetheless =o)

All these bands are ok compared to almost all R’n'B, Manufactured Pop or Jazz music. All this bands are awful compared to Pantera, Lamb of God and many, many others. Like Einstein said, it’s all relative.

Why the hell are crazytown on this list? I’m not disputing the fact that they were utter utter dogshit but surely they shouldn’t be classed as metal in the first place! ps has anyone ever heard of H-Bloks – holy crap they were bad!!

Oh come on! Coal Chamber was awesome! I would love to see them perform one last time, but I like DevilDriver better.

Human Waste Project were an awesome band, and also on at least a couple of HAMMER cd’s as i recall. Actually, now i come to think of it, so were most of these bands!

Come my lady,come come my lady…arse! There were some half decent songs on Orgy’s first album,same as Coal Chamber’s debut.To be honest there was a lot of crap about in the mid to late nineties after the whole ‘nu-metal’ scene got rammed down our throats.A band that should never reform…Poison!
