Alexisonfire On Album: “Wade Played Joe Perry’s Guitar”

We reported the other day that the darlings of the screamo crowd, Alexisonfire, were looking to the heavens for divine inspiration for the latest album ‘Old Crows/Young Cardinals’. Well, they found from a deity in tour own temporal plain – guitar-god Joe Perry.Vocalist George Pettit said in an interview with Metal Hammer: “The studio we were recording at, all these amazing bands, AC/DC and Aerosmith and people had played there, and donated instruments. So Wade played Joe Perry’s guitar. 1952 Les Paul Junior, just fantastic guitar and that really added to the tones – phenomenal gear.”
