Alexisonfire Re-Recording Old Songs

The much-revered Canadian hardcore mob are revisiting their back catalogue for a future release.
Much like a fine wine, Alexisonfire are a band who have gotten better with age. That’s poetic for a Monday morning, we’ll have you know.
Anyways, Alexisonfire revealed on their Twitter this weekend that they will be re-recording tracks from their back catalogue for a thus-far unspecified project. It is being speculated that the band have tracked 9 old classics.
In the meantime, we suggest that you listen to ‘Watch Out!’ There’s no real reason for us to mention this other than the fact that we revisited it last week and are of the opinion that it f’n rocks.

yep watch out rocks, and every album just seems to be better then the last, how they managed to follow up crisis with an equally kool album like old crows just shows that they are pure class!
The guys have recorded 9songs for an iTunes release. If you have a look on the iTunes Canada twitter page, they’ve put details up about it.
Also, Jordan(Ratbeard) has posted on his twitter that the songs are all taken from the “Alexisonfire” & “Watch Out!” albums.
