Alice In Chains UK Tour: “The Plan Is To Extend The Set”
Alice In Chains return to the throne room of rock with their awesome album, ‘As Black Gives Way To Blue’, and have some news about their upcoming UK tour…“I’m not sure if were going to have support bands or if we’ll make it like, ‘An Evening With Alice In Chains’. The plan is to extend the set so I don’t know if there will always be an opener, a couple of dates there will for sure, but for the whole tour, I’m not sure what’s going to happen.”
The tour dates are as follows:
12 Nov Barrowland Glasgow, 13 Nov Academy Birmingham, 14 Nov Academy Manchester, 16 Nov The Forum London, 17 Nov The Forum London, 6 Dec Rock City Nottingham, 7 Dec Brixton Academy London.
“We’re coming to the UK in the next couple of weeks and I’m really looking forward to it – we’re really looking forward to it. The UK has always been very good to us. Sonisphere, Knebworth was really fun and the show we did at the Astoria in 2006 was a highlight for us, so I’m really looking forward to getting back there man.”

“And all you have to do to win it is answer the following question:
This competition is now closed.”
Nice…
Who’s talking? Jerry, Mike, Sean, William?
This is even more heartbreaking that I didn’t get a ticket for Manchester
a tour does not consist of 7 dates. !
@Jingee I couldnt get a manchester ticket either, and its on the night of my 18th birthday and all my mates are going…
Touts it is, I guess.
Gutted that I’m gonna miss the tour, they were excellent at sonisphere. Never mind, have to make do with my ticket for the show in Vegas in December at the Hard Rock!
Two weeks tonight I’ll be seeing them in Glasgow!! I can’t wait!!
Like a couple others here, also missed the Manchester concert… A bigger venue was needed so badly!!
