Arch Enemy ‘Cruelty Without Beauty’ Video (WARNING: Not Safe For Work And Not Easy To Watch)
Arch Enemy have unveiled the latest video from last year’s Khaos Legions album – and it ain’t for the faint-hearted. Or people who like animal cruelty. Which is hopefully none of you.
Cruelty Without Beauty deals with the none-too-light-hearted issue of animal cruelty – a subject which, as the singer explains, is very close to Angela Gossow’s heart.
“I’m very pleased we got this video done for one of my favourite songs off the Khaos Legions album,” says Angela, who is now on her fifth proper studio album with the band since joining for 2001′s Wages Of Sin. “The video is quite raw and extreme as it reflects the lyrics very well I believe, dealing with a subject matter close to my heart – animal cruelty and vivisection.”
“We want to thank the good folks at Peta2, Hardforce, Metalitalia and The Metal Circus for supporting a serious subject,” she adds. “All of us have been well aware that a video like this doesn’t find everybody’s acceptance. But rock music was always more than guitar riffs – it’s also the voice of the voiceless.”

Arch Enemy announced back in March that longtime guitarist Chris Amott had left the band for the second time, to be replaced by Nick Cordle.
