Can we have the opinions of a band that isn’t metalcore? Nothing against metalcore or the bands themselves, but it looks like the last few have all been from similar bands, and their lists are getting repetitive.

ok, this is just BS right here. almost every band that has posted a top 10 video has posted epic fails.
here’s what i would think would be the top 10 (not in particular order)

mastodon-crack the skye
devildriver-pray for villians
slayer-world painted blood
kreator-hordes of chaos
alice in chains-black gives way to blue
cannibal corpse-evisceration plague
heaven and hell-the devil you know
kiss-sonic boom
lamb of god-wrath

in my opinion, that’s the list people should be looking for.

these are not in particular order, but i believe this should be the top ten choice instead of all the bullshit lists some of these bands keep coming up with.

i know this is a heavy metal website and that some of you are 12 and listen to unmentionable shit like bullet for my valentine, but for those who can appreciate ‘heavy’ music without cheap tricks like sickly compressed distortion and br00tal chug chug riffs then i put forward ‘embryonic’ by the flaming lips as album of the year.

Sights and Sounds, Polar Bear Club, The Ghost Of A Thousand and Converge are all spot on choices. Sights and Sounds album is fucking beautiful.
