As I Lay Dying Prepare New Album

San Diego riffsters As I Lay Dying have revealed an update on their new material.
The band’s statement reads: “A lot of people have been wondering what we’re up to since we normally tour constantly and we haven’t been playing many shows lately. Well, we’ve been home hard at work writing new songs for an album that will be out in early 2010. We’ll start to record before the end of the year though.”
As I Lay Dying were last seen on UK soil as part of 2008’s Taste Of Chaos bill.

Also, any news on the new Austrian Death Machine album? Isn’t it supposed to be a double-disc?

Double Brutal is a double album – disc one new stuff, disc two covers. It’s out on September 28.
