Avenged Sevenfold made their return to the stage last night for the first time since the tragic passing of Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan. Setlist and pictures inside.

Avenged Sevenfold returned to the live environment at last night’s Heavy MTL festival in Quebec, Canada. Playing in front of a backdrop of the band in a group huddle with Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan, the band’s setlist was:

Nightmare
Critical Acclaim
Welcome To The Family
Beast and the Harlot
Buried Alive
Afterlife
So Far Away
God Hates Us
Unholy Confessions
Almost Easy

Pics from the set were posted on A7X’s Facebook page.

You can still get tickets for Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour’s UK tour at Viagogo. Get your A7X and Stone Sour tickets here!

Not surprising that there’s a lot of songs off the new album. I’m just happy to see them back on stage and touring again. Will be epic in October :)

Michael

I’ll assume the set will be longer in October but it’s a cool setlist, can’t wait! On that note, off to HMV I go to pick up Nightmare!

that guy

STST – 0!
Waking the Fallen – 1
City of Evil – 1
S/T – 3
Nightmare – 5

i cant wait to see them at hammersmith apollo….

i just listened to thier new album and it was just epically beautiful album

it will ever beat thier self titled but this is an amazing comeback, even without the rev ….this album is fantastic

tonight the world dies is the BEST song on the album

Seeing them Friday night opening up for Limp Bizkit in CT, USA. with All That Remains also on the bill.

I’d be curious to know who does the Rev’s singing part in Critical Acclaim. And all the other songs he sings/sang in for that matter…..
