Avenged Sevenfold have released a special YouTube clip for the track ‘Nightmare’ and you can check that out below.
Speaking on the Pulse of Radio, M Shadows has said the following about the song: “‘Nightmare’ is one of those songs that was the beginning of the record and it was setting us up for this big story,”
“Jimmy loved the lyrics so much that when he passed away, I didn’t want to change them. And I figured, if this record’s gonna be about Jimmy, I’m not gonna change stuff he loved about it, ’cause there’s already so many songs that are about him, or with him in it, and just have to do with that whole dark side of everything we were going through.”

It certainly aint the best A7X song but it isn’t bad and has a catchy chorus.

Im a fan of A7X, not the biggest but that drum part has the rev’s name written all over it. Mike Portnoy did a really good job on it. The lyrics were really clever aswell so hopefully this album should be pretty good

some bits of this seem really oddly reminiscent of metallica, even the vocals at times sounds like hetfield. strange.

Its awesome.
That song bored me to tears, the drums were yawn inducing, and the vocals sleep inducing. The only thing that stood out were guitars, and even then, I was bored. Also people *cough* Dani *cough* others have opinions, and we have a right to post them. So quit whining like a bitch when someone doesn’t bow to your whim. However I bought Exodus’s new album today, best fucking thing I’ve ever let my ears listen to.
