The NWOBHM legend performed the Saxon classic ‘Motorcycle Man’ with Metallica and he reveals to Hammer that it only came to light just before the band were due onstage.
“I didn’t know until 15mins before (they went on),” said Biff. “It was fucking cool though!”
Metallica are set to be inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow, where they will be joined onstage by Jason Newsted for the first time since his departure from the band.
Metallica will be inducted into this year’s Hall Of Fame by RHCP bassist Flea. The band have also recently announced a US tour for this fall and have just released a trailer for Guitar Hero: Metallica where you can watch James Hetfield blow up a house.
Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword.

Shouldn’t that be “fookin’ cool” ?
