We caught up with The Black Spiders ahead of their upcoming tour with Dio and got them to drop a few words about one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time.
“To have been given the opportunity of touring with a living legend like Dio is truly an honour,” says frontman Pete ‘Spider’ Spiby. “We really are looking forward to playing some of the biggest shows we’ve done so far. Being able to hear ‘Holy Diver’, ‘Rainbow in The Dark’ and ‘Stand Up And Shout’ every night has got to be a dream come true and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing – living the dream.
“Yeah – Quo, Heap, Tull, Purple, Moore…you can quote me on that.”
