Bloodstock Announce New Bands!
3 new bands are announced for Bloodstock 2010! Get your Bloodstock 2010 tickets here!
The UK’s only performance from Swedish death metal supergroup Bloodbath (featuring Opeth’s Mikael Akerfeldt and Martin ‘Axe’ Axenrot, Katatonia guitarist Anders ‘Blakkheim’ Nystrom and vocalist Jonas Renske and guitarist Per ´Sodomizer´ Eriksson), legendary black metallers Gorgorth make their first UK festival performance and also joining the Bloodstock festivities are the hard-rocking, hellraising Black Spiders!
There’s also the sad news that Dream Evil have had to pull out of this year’s festival. “We were really looking forward to come back to blast the Bloodstock stage again” says the band. “We had so much fun when we were last there, but sadly, we are not going to be able to do the show because of personal commitments.”
These latest additions will join headliners Heaven & Hell, co-headliners Fear Factory and Children Of Bodom and a bill that also includes Korpiklaani, GWAR, Devin Townsend, Behemoth, Obituary, Gojira, Leaves Eyes, Cannibal Corpse, Doro Pesch, Sonata Arctica, Rage, Andromeda and Suffocation and a whole host of acts still to be confirmed!
The Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival 2010 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from 13th – 15th August. Get your Bloodstock 2010 tickets here!

Typical….i get my Hellfest ticket primarily for Bloodbath, now the announce bloodstock….tbh, i kinda hoped they would. Looks like i’ll be hitting up BOA this year too

bloodbath is an amazing announcement!!!!! gorgoroth isnt my thing but is good for BOA. this years BOA is going to be far better than last years, and anyone who went will no that, thats saying something!
Gonna be awesome this year again, 3 years running they trounce the other festivals in the UK.
