Bohemia Stage Headliners Announced For Sonisphere
It’ll be a final hurrah from one of the Hammer office’s favourite bands.
Thunder will headline the Bohemia stage at this year’s Sonisphere festival on August 1st in what will be the band’s last ever UK show.
A statement from Thunder frontman Danny Bowes reads: “Our final 6 months have been incredible, with sell out shows and brilliant festival appearances all over. Its somehow quite fitting that well play our last show in the UK, and having gone there as kids to see the Stones and Led Zeppelin, to do it at Knebworth will be a real thrill. Bring it on.”
Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Heaven & Hell, Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Corey Taylor and Killing Joke.

Thunder are extremely worthy headliners. Metal/rock wont be the same without them.
