They are good in what they do. And Oli Sykes isn’t a genius or wathever, he’s just a guy jumping on stage, tattooed and singing for a very good band. I never saw their faces till I went to one of their show and they’re good.

I love them, Suicide Season is a killer album and I cant fucking wait until the next one!!!

Fair enough they are metal, and they are from the UK but i think that there is a very big divide between the people that like BMTH, Architects ect and Sylosis, Viatrophy, Evile, Malefice; and frankly i’d much rather be in the latter category. I just don’t get the whole scene, but overall its good for British metal to get noticed for once, even if it is bands that im not into. It will be interesrting to see if they develop into something more than what they are, and whether they live up to the hype. Good luck to them though…

They are a metal band, this is a metal publication and everyones music taste varies, no one wants to read a story about a new record only to see people bitching about how shit they are. You walk past copies of heat in the newsagents, dont mean you have to read it.

Quite easily. Nowadays, breakdowns are just one chord, played over and over in a discordant fashion. Anyone with any knowledge of a single chord can play a breakdown. That’s why they’re bloody terrible to listen to.

Their sole purpose in modern metal is to have a part of the song everyone can mosh to. It’s basically a band covering up their inability to play music that requires any knowledge of their instrument.

It is true that they dress different than most other metal bands, but they DO have musical talent and they ARE a metal band.

BMTH aren’t amazing, but aren’t bad either. I believe they will end up doing stuff better than some other bands out there, I bet they will get really experimental. Always a good thing.
