Brit Awards – Come On The ‘Maiden!!!!
So the day of the Brit awards is here and Iron Maiden will be doing battle with Coldplay, The Verve, Scouting For Girls and Elbow for the Best Live Act category. Up the Irons!!!!
Iron Maiden will find out this evening whether or not they have scooped their first Brit award and poked the industry in the eye in the name of metal.
Let’s face facts; Iron Maiden don’t need a silver statue to prove a goddamn thing. They’re one of the finest bands of any genre to come out of any genre, they’re at least as relevant now as they were when they started the band 35 years ago, they’re one of the most popular bands on planet Earth and they STILL release kick-ass albums that take the Daz Whites challenge with their legendary back catalogue.
They have nothing to prove to anyone because, frankly, they’re Iron fucking Maiden.
Still…it’d be nice, wouldn’t it?

Maiden is without a doubt one of the greatest bands within the history of music, they don’t need some award to tell them they’re great, we know, they know it. Would be killer if they win. Would be such a huge fuck you to the indie pieces of shit that are coldplay scouting for girls and the verve
the verve may have robbed slipknot of a number 1 album here but there is no way that any of these shit groups can deny maiden.they just don’t even come close.
They have nothing to prove to anyone because, frankly, they’re Iron fucking Maiden.
