There’s plenty of bands that we can think of that you would expect to be putting out acoustic sessions but Canadian hardcore mob Cancer Bats are probably not one of them. Step this way to see Cancer Bats with additional banjo. Seriously!

It really shouldn’t work, should it? A balls-to-the-wall, furious hardcore band playing their songs acoustically with banjo accompaniment. Well, it does, so that’s told us. These two ragers (both from the band’s ‘Hail Destroyer’ record) swap walls-of-death for lashes of Southern-tinged cool to awesome effect.
