Twangy versions of old tunes, all new jams and cover versions set to be included on this unplugged set from Maryland funk-soul brothers, Clutch.

Clutch are to hit the studio in the next month for a special acoustic EP. Expected to be included on this set are new versions of ‘Abraham Lincoln’, ‘Electric Worry’, ‘Regulator’, ‘Tight Like That’, a cover of Bukka White’s ‘Fixin’ To Die Blues’ and more.

This acoustic collection is expected to be released later on this year. Clutch will play this summer’s High Voltage festival.

Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinnie Appice will play a very special tribute to one of the greatest voices of all time at this year’s first ever High Voltage festival on July 24th at Victoria Park in London.

Playing the songs that made three generations of metal fans worship the ground Ronnie walked upon, the H&H members will be joined by legendary former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath man Glenn Hughes and Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande, who sings for power metallers Masterplan and has also released his own tribute to Ronnie in the past.

The first ever High Voltage festival will be headlined by classic rock giants ZZ Top and the reformed Emerson, Lake and Palmer with the Metal Hammer stage featuring Down, Black Label Society, Saxon, Cathedral, Clutch, Opeth and many other metal heavyweights!
