Coheed And Cambria Announce New Album Details
They’ve also signed to Roadrunner for the release of their forthcoming fifth studio album.
Coheed And Cambria have revealed that they are to release their new album ‘Year Of the Black Rainbow’ in April, 2010. Production duties have been handled jointly by Atticus Ross (Nine Inch Nails, Jane’s Addiction) and Joe Barresi (QOTSA, Clutch) and song titles set to be included are ‘Here We are Juggernaut’, ‘The Broken’, ‘Pearl of the Stars’, and ‘Guns of Summer’.
In addition to a standard CD release, the album will also be available as a part of a deluxe package that will contain a novel of the same name. Not a graphic novel, but a full 300+ page prose novel, which will tell the origins of Coheed and Cambria, and much more. Co-writing the book with frontman Claudio Sanchez is acclaimed sci-fi/graphic novelist Peter David.
‘Year Of the Black Rainbow’ will be released through Roadrunner Records in the UK.

Downlaod next year?
If they have to book a ‘current’ or young-ish band for next year as a headliner, I’d actually be quite happy with C&C, cos really you need an horu or two to appreciate a good set from them! xD
