Props for liking Crack The Skye and World Painted Blood. Both excellent albums imho, Crack The Skye being my favourite this year.

World Painted Blood is horrendous, Slayer are really losing their touch.

I could comment on each album individually but I don’t feel like doing so. Instead I’m just gonna point out that all five records are pretty mainstream metal (which is not necessarily bad, but come on.)

Why does everyone keep mentioning Wrath? I love Lamb of God, but Wrath was not exactly up to par with their other work. And Death Magnetic is by no means bad, it’s just not spectacular. I do agree with Crack the Skye, however; great album.

Yall are forgetting the EPIC-NESS that is The Dethalbum II by Dethklock. Despite the non-serious manner of the lyrics the music is bad ass.
