Corpse Paint Nudes
Photographer Jeremy Saffer has new book coming out and yes, it’s nude women in corpse paint. One for the Christmas list.
Combining his favorite sub genre of metal (black metal), along with his career-long work in fine art nude photography, Saffer has been shooting content for a new book and calendar series.
“For those who know me or follow my work, I work mostly with bands, and dabble in some fine-art photography, and being that black metal has had the longest tenure as my favorite genre in metal, it made sense to some how cross the paths of my work,” he says. “I am shooting this project in a few ways. I am shooting fine-art and fashion style nude images with corpse paint — very elegant, standard poses…but also shooting very metal/creepy poses — so there’s a good mix of traditional and non-traditional posing for both genres.”

Just had a quick look at his website. Love the way that when you go to the gallery section you have the headings “bands”, “corpse paint” and then “weddings”.
Any chance he could combine all three?

Is a bit strange. I can appreciate its his own idea that he is trying to portray and i know he hasnt done it to be ‘hot’ but i think those of you who think this is hot are just a bit strange. I like my girls to look like alive flesh coloured girls.

Looks awesome. I’m an art student, and if this guy opened up an exhibition, I’d go! Why can’t it be art? A girl in my class is a bodypainter, she does stuff like this, and it is an artform. Amazing stuff
