Honestly… I think this is a piss poor effort for Cradle… comparing it to the likes of Honey and Sulphur, there is a serious lack of passion and effort in this video.
I understand that the visual effects are intentional and they are mildly fitting for the theme but the performance itself could have done with a lot more ‘oomph’.

Oh dear :/ Not their best video or song at all by far. Still amusing though, as expected from this band =P

The band looks good and so does Gilles but I don’t like the Joan. She’s about to be burned alive and shes got a half smile on her face and says her lines with no emotion and is stiff as a board. I’ve also never seen Joan represented as a long haired blonde. This is my favorite song on the album so its hard to hear it shortened as well. Good casting on the Gilles and a beautiful song. Love you guys

My favourite band for the last ten years. They can do no wrong in my eyes. Having Sarah in the video would have been good but it’s amazing anyway. My favourite song on Godspeed. I bloody love COF!!!

people need to stop trying to sound cool and face the fact their a decent band
looking forward to seeing them at bloodstock its been too long!

I LOVE this song, and I liked the visuals throughout the vid. But being a hardcore COF fan, I still can’t ignore the feeling of WTF when Dani was kinda just standing, bouncing, and grabbing his face while he was singing. I guess I’m just a bit too used to more stage props and more story, like Nymphetamine, Babylon AD, From the Cradle to Enslave or Mannequinn. I felt like there was less time in these vids for Dani to “appear” to not have much to do.
But I still LOVE this band and this song!

yeah it’s a beautiful and well elaborated video, but the guys look tired and unmotivated in it. It seems to me like they made this video very quickly and with no effort towards it.
Please, don’t take me wrong..I love Cradle, I love the old and the new stuff from these guys.. it’s an amazing band with amazing songs, amazing lyrics, but…as a big fan, I know they can do much better than this.
I don’t know what the problem with the guys is, but I’d like them to know that we still love them, and we’ll never change what’s in our hearts. No matter what.
