Daath Cancel Bloodstock Appearance

bloodstock_90Daath have had to cancel their previously announced summer appearances.

Daath were confirmed for three European festivals, including the Hammer sponsored Bloodstock. However due to some financial problems the three appearances had to be cancelled.

Guitarist Eyal Levi has said: “These fests were book so far apart with no gigs in between that there was no way we could financially afford to stay in Europe all that time without resorting to either begging for change or selling our bodies in the red-light districts.”

“While we’d love to take part in the latter, none of us are attractive enough to compete with the working girls and therefore we apologise to all the festival organisers, booking agents, and most important the fans for this. Cancelling is something we had to do. However much this sucks, a more realistic European venture has come our way in the form of the Chimaira/Unearth/Throwdown tour which will hit Europe in September and October! We’re looking forward to touring with some of the best bands metal has to offer as well as sharing the road with our brothers in Unearth yet again! See you guys there!”

They were never confirmed to play in the first place….

They’re only a week apart not exactly that long!
