The Dark Days festival, focusing on the hottest new talent around, will take place on April 11th and we caught up with Outcry Fire to see what they had to say about their slot! Get your tickets for Dark Days!

Is it fun to be playing an all-ages show?
We did a couple of all-ages shows last year in London, and we really enjoyed it. As an audience, younger people tend to loosen up a bit easier than an older crowd from the get go. Our music isn’t written for a specific age group, so I think a younger audience will be able to get down just as much as other folk.

What’s been your career highlight?
It would have to be travelling around the UK and meeting people who know our music, and make the effort to come and support us.

What’s been your career lowlight?
It was probably needing a piss when you wake up in the morning after a night on the beers, and having to flash your piece out of the van door in front of an unsuspecting woman with a pram.

What can we expect from your Dark Days set?
In theory; we would like to think you can expect a mind-blowing blistering set of intense tunes with a light hearted twist. In reality, you might interpret us as four sweaty dudes flailing about all over the place making a loud noise. I think you will have to come to a show and see for yourself.

Who are you looking forward to seeing on the Dark Days bill?
We are very much looking forward to playing alongside The Plight again, those guys are awesome. And Deaf Havana are old friends of ours who we also are looking forward to catching up with. All in all I would say it’s a great line up.

Outcryfire are immense!
Totally underated. Why they are not signed is a bloody travesty! They are clearly one of the best UK bands to ever come out of this country.
