I think we exhausted all of the metal puns when we did our heavy metal menu last year. Anyways, there’s a death metal cook book on the way!
Autopsy, Possesed, Death, Repulsion, Slaughter, Obituary, Master, and Obscurity are just a handful of the band’s that will be offering contributions to ‘Hellbent For Cooking: The Heavy Metal Cookbook’, by Annick ‘The Morbid Chef’ Giroux.
According to Blabbermouth, recipes will include: Matt Olivo of Repulsion’s Mushroom Steak a la Jack Daniel’s; Dave Hewson of Slaughter’s Incinerator Chicken Wings; Richard Christy of Death/Control Denied’s ultra-manly Viking Testicle; and Jeff Becerra of Possessed’s Strawberry Jell-o Pretzel Salad Cake.

Weird, this must be for me, because I’ve been listening to metal and eating food every day for years now. Autopsy, Budgie, Pentagram, Obituary… the “chefs” on the web site for this thing sound pretty cool.
is this a real book? i need this.
Tesco do a buy one get one free deal on Viking testicles. I usually have them cold with a salad but it would be nice to see if there are any more exciting recipes where I can use them.

Who’s got time to read- chuck egg and frozen onion in a pan add a few herbs large doorstep wholemeal bread with a bit of marmite- 5 minutes later one meal ( for as many as you can fit stuff in the pan) with all your vits food groups and if you must add garlic and mushrooms!!
