DevilDriver To Play Download Warm-Up Show

DevilDriver are set to play a show at TJ’s in Newport on June 12th with God Forbid to warm up for the Download festival. While DevilDriver were one of the first bands to be announced for the festival, God Forbid aren’t part of this year’s festival. Will they be part of the proceedings? We shall soon see.

Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Down, Journey and many, many more.

looked at a web search page and it said they were comin to manchester then leeds with GF! but it was cached from 07 and i didnt realise!
actually think i saw this yesterday…but i digress…
I was at the Ill Nino / God Forbid gig in Sheffield last night. God Forbid ended their set by saying “we’ll see you at Download”…
Got my ticket, can’t wait! Massive fan of both bands and being able to see them in such a small venue like TJ’s is too awesome. Nice to see a one off gig outside of London too.
