Grime-MC Dizzee Rascal showed his metal side while launching his customised Nike Air Max 90 trainers at the Nike 1948 store in London yesterday.

When quizzed by journo’s about his musical influences, Rascal said “Snoop (Dogg), Jigga (Jay-Z), Korn, Sepultura and Shy FX.”

Rascal, who regularly freestyles to Korn’s ‘Here To Stay’ in his live show, will release his new album, ‘Tounge N’ Cheek’ on Monday.

Kerrang! had a feature on this years ago.

Dizzee’s made no secret of his love for alternative/metal music in the past – remember him banging on about growing up listening to Nirvana and Sepultura in Kerrang magazine years ago.
