An update issued by New Orleans super group, Down, has confirmed that the band are gearing up to hit the studio, after their summer touring schedule is complete.

The statement reads: “Down’s been offered a great amount of festivals all over Europe this summer, so here we come. We also have a couple of dates on our own with the mighty St. Vitus!”

“After the European festivals, we’re planning one more run of select markets in The States from August to September. Then we are headed back to the studio for October through December to record what will eventually become the fourth Down album.”

The album will follow the amazing “III: Over the Under”.

Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Down, Journey and many, many more.
