Download Announce 2010 Festival!
Get the first information on next year’s Download Festival and when you can get your hands on tickets!
Download Festival 2010 will officially take place on June 11th – 13th, 2010 at Donington Park. The festival have also announced that, for a limited time, tickets for next year’s festival will be available at 2009 prices!
Going on sale at 9.00am on Thursday 19 November on the official Download website www.downloadfestival.co.uk, standard weekend arena tickets for the 2010 Download Festival will be available at £135. Standard and family camping tickets will stay at £25 for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, however if you do wish to arrive early on the Wednesday or Thursday there will be an additional charge of £10.
Full details will be available on purchase and these prices will only be available until midnight on Christmas Eve.
The festival’s first batch of bands are set to be released in early 2010. Get our list of bands who could potentially headline Download 2010 and 19 bands who could play Download’s Classic Rock Sunday.

An extra £10 for getting there early!? What’s the point? Surely they’ll be making more money out of food/drink/merch sales on Wednesday and Thursday then ripping off their customers an extra £10. Money grabbing bastards.

It’s rediculous. “Same as last years prices”… NO IT IS NOT. Last year it was £175 including booking fees and camping, this year it will be £185 to have the identical items. I believe that’s false advertising?
Oh well, fuck Download 2010, it’s all about Hammerfest and Bloodstock.

No point in even buying a ticket until i see some bands, comon download throw us a bone here,bloodstocks done it and thats futher away.
Hellfest for me
much as i enjoyed Driver and a couple of others at download, Hellfest was a much better festival last year.
the country`s in recession, so lets charge an extra tenner for getting there early and spending more money there?

Personally I think the £10 charge is fair enough (although obviously I’d prefer it not to be there
). For those 2 days extra camping thats 2 days of extra staff, land rental, portaloos, police etc. And compare it to regular non-festival camping which can be like £20 a night, this is £10 for 2 nights and its motherfucking Download 
how do they expect me to pay for my tickets early when i havnt seen the lineup?
I might end up seeing fallout boy and MCR, and nobody wants to pay nearly £200 to see that shit

Its the 30th anniversary, so i you know its going to be special!
This will be my first download, i’m well gutted i missed download ‘07, none of my friends wanted to go, but they started going in ‘08, and i didnt want to go cos the line up wasnt that great, same with last year.
