Come on people, we’ve had Kiss, Slipknot, FNM, Metallica, Maiden, Tool and others over the last few years so there’s hardly likely to be an early announcement for somebody like Korn. That’s not to say I don’t like Korn, but all the signs are that this will be HUGE- i.e. another awesome reunion a la FNM (please let it be Van Halen!!!!) or somebody like AC/DC. Rammstein would be awesome, and I hope they are there, but I don’t think even they’d get the privilige of being Download’s first ever pre-Christmas announcement.

my 3 headliners would be iron maiden, judas priest & guns and roses

well some of the facts that we no are that there keeping the theem of old school rock night on sunday next year wich would explain the roumer of van halen playing. anouthere fact is that there getting 4 bands back together to play now rage agenst the machine wining christmas number one and anouncing they will do a free gig… this year i recon they will play systum of a down thel get back together and the only outhere bands i can think of is deep perple and black sabbth now i dont no about you but that would be 4 EPIC bands to get back to gether!!!!!!!

Metallica wont headline download for they own 30% of sonisphere, so they will be help recuriting people to play at their festival.

Rammstein & Maiden are at sonisphere already, and they are planning to annouce a 3rd day & Headliner, u didnt hear that from me !!

If BFMV did headline this festival would be going downhill like Reading so please dont let me see this happen !

Why does anybody care what happens at download? Any metalhead worth their salt boycotted download years ago it’s all about bloodstock theese days!

which is sad, because I wanted Motley Crue and Alice Cooper to do Download again

one problem with some of these is that
1. Rammstein won’t be there due to them headlining sonisphere this year.
2. Avenged Sevenfold are unlikely to do anything soon with Rev dying and all.
3. Iron Maiden won’t be for same reason as Rammstein.
4. Paramore won’t be there because i’m going to murder them all for making music

whoever headlines Donington it’s not maiden or rammstein. Download have let us down these few years, well done to Bloodstock and Sonishere

i could see pearl jam playing, they play london like a week-ish after, plus with stone temple pilots confirmed and soundgarden rumoured……all you need is Pj + alice in chains and could have like a little (or rather BIG) 90’s grunge reunion, i’d love it.

Whoever for friday, grunge sat and finish off with legends like AC/DC and Motorhead on sunday…..
