The classic rock day was great fun. if somthing like that happend next year i would be quite happy. (ecstatic if they got Manowar or Heaven and Hell)

Also, im glad that The Prodigy proved (again) that they are a great adition to Download! (so ha to the folks saying they had no place being at download)

I don’t see why anyone moaned about Prodigy. Personally not my cup of tea.
But you had Slipknot, Prodigy or Anvil (and i guess the blackout) on at the same time.
If you can’t go and enjoy at least one of those sets then you were at the wrong festival….

Prodigy shouldnt of been there them getting such a big crowd just means that lots of people have bad taste who go to download i was at ANVIL who were the band of the weekend.

As long as Download 2010 isn’t more fucking nu-metal bands i’ll be happy. Also Last Three years, he’s had some questionable headliners: MCR, Linkin Park, Lost Prophets and The Offspring as well as Faith No More. why not actually go for headline bands who deserve it?

Exactly, most peopel have seen msot or all these bands at some point before!
In fact (not that it’s a bad thing) but it seems we can’t seem to be rid of Metallica lately!
They headlined Downlaod in 2006, then they played Wembley two nights in a row in 07 (G8 then their own show), then they headlined Reading and Leeds festivals last year, THEN they came over for a tour earlier thsi year, and now they’re comign back for Sonisphere!

I think it’s unlikely that he’ll manage to get Van Halen, Alice Cooper, AC/DC, Aerosmith and Metallica all to play on one day since any one of those bands could easily headline. But fingers crossed! Glad they’re sticking with the classic rock day.

I was at ‘05 where Sabbath played with Ozzy and it was absolutely AMAZING. Haven’t been to ‘load since but would definitely go if BS were playing with Ozzy again… fuck me that would SO GOOD
