In 2008, the only 2 bands I wanted to see were Kiss and Dillinger and they played at the same time. FAIL-load.

Personally if anyone headlines I hope Download finally gets ACDC and Rammstein and to befair that would be the only two that would make me go back, the last two years have had absolutely awful line ups.

Now we all know Bullet are not the best choice, but lets be realistic, the organisers have to have some to keep the kids happy – so all I can say brace yourself and get horribly drunk so you dont remember the Friday night.

Hope it’s a band such as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, AC/DC, Soundgarden, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, Van Halen. and I’m sorry, but I pray to god it’s not Aerosmith, I detest them.

I seriosuly doubt the ‘Knot will headline again, at least not a second year in a row.
I mean apart from Ozzfest, how many festivals do you know that have headliners from the year directly before headlining again the following year?

It honestly wouldn’t surpirse me if Bullet headlined a day at Donny, there’s usually at least one modern day band headlining, plus one or two ‘classic’ or less recent bands headlining.

Well Kim, Ben and Chris form Soundgarden all recently showed up to an awards ceremony or something together recently, where Matt already was with Pearl Jam, Plus Pearl Jam said they wouldnt be back for a long time and Cornell’s been routing for a reunion for years. I think them.

By the way the Pantera rumour is them with Zakk Wlydde as he is a friend of the bad and was close friends with Dimebag.

Going on new albums since past download performances i’d definately suggest lamb of god in a high place on the main stage.
personally ac/dc are my favourite band and ’cause they got soooo big on playing donnington all those years ago it’s be a great way show they’re back in action !
skynyrd i dunno didn’t alot of them die in a crash of some sort ?
but high hopes for AC/DC, Lamb of God, Rise Against and it’s be awesome if billy talent came back again
