has metal hammer forgotten there were 3 other bands on the tour?
for christs sake log are good yeah but quit kissing their asses already.
Rest assured there’s more to come from the other bands on the tour, stu
gooooood
Stu,
the other bands on the tour were crap – LoG was by far the best act
Log were awesome
yeah apologies crap was harsh, but LoG deserve the praise, i don`t think people are ass kissing them at all, as they wouldnt want that. they were awesome live, have a superb new album that i cant think would be beaten by anyone: just seems that people are beginning to notice them?
FYM – Absolutely right!! No fckers are gonna measure up to ‘Wrath’. All the other metal bands need to lock themselves away for the rest of the year and listen to ‘Wrath’ over and over again to learn how it should be done. I can’t remember another metal album sending such a powerful signal to it’s peers since ‘Beneath the Remains’ back in ‘90.
Thats down to opinion though
i thought five finger were brilliant and i watched lamb of god from further back to hear the music properly and it just seemed rather average to me.
dont get me wrong their a good band but there are better out there at what they do.
And i thought wrath was ok but most of it sounded the same halfway through it, Definetly better albums out there but like i said its opinion.
i cant think of any band that do what LoG better, i`d really like to see/hear them…..
55dp weren`t my cup of tea, and the others didnt even register on my radar, Dimmu arent my cup of tea, but i dont know much about that style of music to comment if anybody else does it better.tbh i dont think Dimmu should have been on the bill, for me its a different style all the other bands: that there were just a filler for LoG.
the others were not interesting in the slightest, but as you say all down to opinions.
exactly id have to say log were rather dull for the hype built around them.
But i have to disagree with your remark that dimmu shouldnt have been there as defenders of the faith is a metal tour and each band is a different genre of metal, and as they are considered black metal they deserved to be there as they are currently one of the pioneers of this genre. And there are many bands that play simple scale riffs and growl about the same old lyrics log do. Some just so it better.
i disagree. Dimmu are a different sound to LoG.
LoG are getting the hype they deserve because they have brough out a critically acclaimed album that is a step above the rest.
you dont like LoG, thats fine, we get it.
LoG is not about simply scowling and the same riffs, its also aboiut a message, i think you just dont get them: probably the same as i dont get Dimmu.
if somethings not to your taste then thats ok, my point is that LoG are popular because they wrote a great album and are awesome live, otherwise there would be nobody there to see them?
