Faith No More Returning To Europe!

Faith No More have announced their first European show of 2010 at the Spanish leg of Sonisphere on July 9th – 10th. Could this be the sign of things to come? Will there be more European shows announced? Could they be part of this Monday’s Sonisphere announcement? Can we ask any more questions?
It’s got to be said, a UK show would rule. The alt-metal legends were great at Brixton and Download but by the time they’d returned to our shores to destroy the tent at Reading, they were on stunning form. One year on and being far more drilled, FNM would again be one of the highlights of the festival calendar!
They can leave the Crowded House covers in Oz though.
Sonisphere Knebworth will take place from July 30th – August 1st and will feature performances from Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, The Cult, Gallows, Iggy & The Stooges, Slayer, Anthrax, Placebo, Bring Me The Horizon, Fear Factory and Henry Rollins with more to be announced. Especially when you consider Manowar are subbing the Bulgarian edition. Would much rather have a band that hasn’t played our shores for 10+ years than a band who were here a handful of times last summer
I think Sabaton at Sonisphere UK would be a major addition.
Im going, can’t see why you’d go to the UK one over the Spain one… It’s 80 quid for a two day ticket with free campings ffs!

Faith No More highlight of the festival Maiden second Rammstein third. as for Download paying to see Aerosmith i think not they were shit 20 years ago

FNM are one of the most underrated bands on the planet!

that would be shite, htey were aweful at both DL and reading, i walked out after 10 mins at reading…. please make it someone else! either that or make them headline the second stage OR GET THEM A DECENT SOUND ENGINEER TO ACTUALLY MAKE THEM SOUND DECENT!!!
No thanks – as has been said awful at Download and their Brixton comeback was one of the worst gigs I went to last year
FNM would be a great addition to Sonisphere, i saw them at Download & Edinburghs Corn Exchange last summer, both shows were equally immense!

i think some of you are fucking deaf, they were awesome at download one of the best bands all weekend only because most of you have only ever heard epic by them and didnt know any other songs at download don’t mean they are shit

All these haters of Faith No More obviously don’t know shit about music. FNM were AMAZING at Download, Mike Patton is a vocal god and blew every band away that weekend. Cant believe anyone would consider their performance shit… thats going to make me chuckle all day tomorrow. HAHA loooosers

don’t really care much for FNM personally, i don’t find ther music particularly exitin now or 15 years ago.but thats my opinion.they pulled a massive crowd at DL, i noticed after watchin Motley Crue, so they would bring shed loadsa punters to any festival they play at, no matter what your opinion of them.if you(like me)don’t like em, jus go see someone else.
Agree with frostiepie and Tom! Sabaton are awesome. But, I’d love FNM to do a proper theatre/arena tour of the uk (coughBIRMINGHAM)
Sorry but people really need to educate themselfs musically as said above Mike Patton is a vocal god plus theres even better news to it all which know one has mentioned with slayer being the saturday at sonipshere and the space being under maiden on the same day this could lead to FANTOMAS on our shores lambardo patton i think makes for a great couple of hours of music

FNM ftw … they was ace at download and leeds fest, they are a fantastic live band and there music is ace, so glad they got back together, i got to see them in 91 or 92 with soundgarden and gnr at manchester they ruled that day too ! mike patton is a music genius , super front man and one of the best vocalists out there ….
