Faith No More To Play Entire ‘Live At Brixton’ Album?

Roddy Bottum is certainly hinting at it on his Twitter page.
After confirming that the mighty Faith No More will play their first show back together at Brixton Academy on June 10th, keyboard player Roddy Bottum has said on his Twitter page: “What Billy said: Live At Brixton, performed in it’s entirety (kinda), 6-10. Tix on sale 5-08 but earlier to Download ticket holders, unkay?”
Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Down, Killswitch Engage, Journey, Clutch and many, many more.

I feel sorry for all the people going to download festival spending there hard earned cash just to see FNM since that was suppose to be the only appearance in the UK. But now they have confirmed a gig before download and there are rumours about a possible leeds appearance although nothing confirmed. How the hell can they get away with saying exclusive to download festival when other gigs are beginning to pop up.It’s shit.
To Lucy – It doesn’t affect everyone. Maybe people who live in London, but for someone like me who’d rather not travel that far from Liverpool just for one band, Download is still a wise choice
lucy. im one of the FnM fans you speak of. ill be honest i dont want a band who havent played live together for what is it, 10 years now? to be doing a 2 hour festival headline slot without at least one warm-up gig. lets face it, for many bands coming over from the us or mainland europe, its the norm now. i think getting them back together and touring in the first place is coup enough, even if a little of the shine has been rubbed off in brixton first…
Live In Brixton the album is only 10 songs right?
why is everyone so shitted about where they play first? who gives a crap? the indoor gig will be very different to the festival
I don’t recall FNM ever saying that Download was going to be their only UK show. The impression I’ve gotten from the various press/websites that I regulary check out every morning was that Download was confirmed, Leeds/Reading was being looked into, a couple of their own gigs and I also read a news snip that said there could be another festival “up North” (T In The Park maybe?).
To Skumbo – FNM never said it, but Download did
everybody loves to complain. If you have download tickets great go see them. But why would you want less people to be able to see a band you love?
i would like as many people as possible to get a chance of seeing them live and I am happy they are doing some gigs finaly after 11 years.
I myself have tickets for leeds, download and brixton so fingers crossed they dont fall out and abandon the gigs.
