Fear Factory Cancel Bloodstock Too
A statement from Burton C Bell and Dino Cazares has hit the web which confirms that the band have cancelled their Bloodstock performance. Fear Factory had already pulled their scheduled performance at Sonisphere.
The statement reads:
“I am writing to each and every one of you to relay important information regarding the Fear Factory concerts between June 21, through August 15. We regretfully are informing you that we are postponing these dates in Europe, to schedule for later dates.”
“These particular dates are being postponed in order that we as Fear Factory may finalize the writing and recording of our new music. We are aware that this album will be a very important recording for each of us in Fear Factory. That this album has to be sonically incredible for each and every one of you who are sincerely interested in listening to this latest creation. In order for Fear Factory to create the album of our career, we must focus and work diligently to engineer our rhythms of mechanical death. We feel that rushing to release this recording will not be beneficial to the craft of our manufacturing.”
“In this parting statement, please understand that postponing these dates is not for any other reason than to create the album that Fear Factory fans are anxious to hear.”
Bloodstock will take place on August 14th – 16th at Catton Hall in Derby. Get your Bloodstock tickets!

Hurrah, the Bloodstock announcement, thanks MH
Still the fact FF pulled out sucks some serious arse!
I can dig FF cancelling to finish the new album. Looking forward to it.
That’s not why they pulled out RM. So lame trying to palm us off when what’s really happening is ALL OVER THE INTERNET.
Some legal issues over their name from what I’ve heard. Anyone got more info on that?
tbh they need boycotting big style. All feels a little publicity stuntish this comeback. Promise gigs and then there’s legal problems and they can’t deliver.
Sure they got a few album sales out of it.
Not the real FF unless it’s got Christian and Ray in it. Not that bothered either way by this announcement.
Erm, Dino is back? Whyyyy? They only just got good again. :’(
Lame excuse. If they knew they were doing an album, why book all those shows?
How come Raymond Herrera says that Fear Factory Incorporated is the four classic line-up members – Herrera, Cazares, Olde Wolbers and Bell – so a new line-up can’t be called Fear Factory, but that didn’t seem to be the case when they released Archetype and Transgression with Byron Stroud instead of Cazares?
Looks like the business side of things takes over again, and a one-time great metal band is reduced to squabbling over a name. Take the Heaven and Hell route guys – change the name (possibly after your best album – Demanufacture) and play to a fanbase who really don’t care about bickering.
So is this a gorgoroth situation.
The Force Gorgoroth :p
The same excuse BFMV used to pull out of Hammerfest. I cant believe they dont know their schedule. What next?
