According to a post on Blabbermouth, Fear Factory had been due to play their debut show with their new line-up last night in Zaragoza, Spain but canceled at the 11th hour. It is alleged that the cancellation comes due to legal issues surrounding the use of the Fear Factory name.
To add fuel to the fire, concert promoter Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur GmbH & Co.KG has announced that the band have also cancelled their German tour, which was set to take place from August 3rd – 12th.
The new Fear Factory line-up (featuring original members Burton C Bell and Dino Cazares as well as former Strapping Young Lad drummer Gene Hoglan and member of the final FF line-up Byron Stroud) are set to make their UK debut at Sonisphere on August 1st and will also appear at this year’s Bloodstock festival.

Also on the bill will be Heaven & Hell, Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword.

Uh-oh. Hope theres so Sonisphere cancellation *prays*
Looks like another Bloodstock cancellation then.
Hope they don’t cancel from sonisphere, but then again the likeliness of them playing demanufacture from start to finish is unlikely so if they do it won’t be a huge loss.
