Festival Maths: Another Download Possibility

Bon Jovi have announced their support slot for June 25th and 26th according to a ticket website and we reckon they could be at Download too. Get Download 2010 tickets here!

OK, Download yesterday announced 7 names but we’re always thirsty for more when it comes to festival announcements.

We were just taking a look at a couple of ticket sites this morning and we couldn’t help but notice that Kid Rock has been announced as support for Bon Jovi on June 25th and 26th at the O2 in London.

We can’t be 100% sure but we can say that that’s mighty close to Download festival.

Bands confirmed for this year’s Download festival thus far: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet For My Valentine, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Sour, Wolfmother, Megadeth, Motorhead, Billy Idol, Lamb Of God, Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch and many, many more to still be announced. Would Download book Kid Rock after last time’s fiasco though?

Oh no not Kid Rock!
If he does “show up” I hope he goes just as quickly to make for more time for better bands again :P

RaisingHell

Great news…we need to hear the “old” Bon Jovi again!

All I care about id AC/DC and lamb of godt

would Download want KR after last time and conversely would KR want to play download after last time. i actually like his stuff – good party tunes – but thought it was a very poor show pissing off from backstage a few yrs back. it might vaguely annoy the organisers but it really annoys your fans, they’re the ones who pay your wages

I jope Kid Cock isn’t there. He’s shite!!

I Hope Kid Cock isn’t there. He’s shite!!

Why don’t you do some festival maths for other festivals, or are Download flavour of the week again

dont think bon jovi would suffer not being a headline act. perhaps below aerosmith, but doubt it.

besides they are a tad too far beyond the point of horrible mainstream now to fit the mood I think

and kid rock can sod right off

Kid Rock would be alot of fun people will no doubt take the piss in the same way everyone slagged limp dick last year but immediately went insane as soon as Break Stuff came on and remembered that a bit of childhood nostalgia can be good for you. (me included)

Woodhouse

Download is always flavour of the week because its awesome! Sonisphere and Bloodstock have great lineups but Dload will still kick ass! Its the best UK festival by far…

limp bizkit are a bad band, but never the less they have some tunes; counterfit for example, which is from the days when they supported soulfly on a uk tour as i remember!

kid rock has no positive aspects at all and is utterly terrible

Oh god I hope not.
Wolfmother, TCV (all legends but the album is wank), Aerosmith, 30 Seconds to Mars. I swear, if any more of these wank stain bands get a slot at Download I’ll be selling my RIP ticket and going to Global Gathering!!

Kid Rock bad idea people are already complaining about the line-up as it is. Would love to see Bon Jovi play second stage headliners me hopes

On the Download website its already got the lineup and Megadeth are behind 30 seconds to mars! That’s must be a fucking joke, I hope Dave kicks the shit out of Jared Leto and then Andy Copping for being such a massive knob. Plus lamb of god are behind wolfmother and bullet again another fuking joke and i cannot even bear to say where Motorhead are on the bill.

kid cock
aw mate how long did it take you to think up that one you little fuckin disease
