This past Friday, the Dillinger Escape Plan absolutely destroyed the Barfly. Not only was their set one of the most spectacularly outstanding displays of showmanship and musical prowess we’ve witnessed since the last time the band were in town, frontman Greg Puciato also destroyed the venues AC. Awesome.

I was expecting this anyway tbh. What with a new album and all. Just as long as they don’t headline a stage when AC/DC are playing, otherwise I’ll miss them AGAIN. And I still regret watching kiss instead of them in ‘08

Metal Hammer, were you actually at the Barfly, or did you just hear about it? Because I was stood under that airconditioning unit, and with a few others I was holding up guitarist Ben Weinman when he was crowd surfing and kicking the shit out of it. And it was Ben that swung off it at the end of the set too.
There seemed to be a couple of live wires dangling down from the thing, it’s a miracle none of us were zapped.
