Five Finger Death Punch Announce Album Details
We brought you a new track from the album this week and now we are bringing you all of your essential details about ‘War Is The Answer’!
Following a barn-storming performance at Download, Five Finger Death Punch rushed home to finish working on their second aural assault, ‘War is the Answer’, which is due to be released on the masses on October 5th. Read our Five Finger Death Punch Download review here!
The Californian metallers have recorded the disc themselves with Kevin Churko, who has previously produced for Ozzy Osbourne, in the co-producer’s chair. Mixing the record will be Metallica/Motley Crue collaborator Randy Staub.
Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said: “In terms of the overall style, I would say that we’ve continued the journey we started on the first album, so there’s a healthy balance of melody and aggression, and as always we concentrated on writing strong metal songs in the traditional sense. There’s some epic moments on the record, and there’s some straight-up home-wreckers, too. All I can say is, those who liked our first album are going to LOVE this one!”
It looks set to be a worthy follow-up to the bands successful 2007 debut ‘The Way of the Fist’ which shifted over 300,000 copies in their homeland alone and snatched the band the prestigious Golden God for best new band.
